Project: Ockley Sewage Treatment Plant
Year: 2000
Client: Southern Water Services (C J Thorne & Co Ltd)
Country: UK
Value: ?73,000.00 (M & E) in 2000
Description: Design, supply, installation and commissioning of 3 sets of pumps, complete with motor control panel and flow and turbidity monitoring to improve operation of existing sewage treatment works at Ockley.

Project: Thorganby Effluent Treatment Plant
Year: 2000
Client: J E Hartley
Country: UK
Value: ?1,430,000.00 (Turnkey) in 2000
Description: Turnkey design, supply, installation, commissioning, civils and training for an automatic plant capable of treating an average of 250 M3/day of vegetable washings - including peas, beans, cauliflowers, roots and carrots. Removal of larger solids by rotary screen and tangential separator is followed by dosing to correct pH and nutrient levels before being pumped into a balance tank (2500 M3). Two sequence batch reactor tanks (each 1400 M3) operate as a fill and draw activated sludge process in a timed sequence. Supernatant liquor is discharged into a final effluent tank (200 M3) before passing through a continuously operated sand filter system to ensure the 20 BOD/30 TSS effluent quality. Excess sludge from the reactors is stabilised in a digestion tank (500 M3) before being tankered away. A SCADA system monitors all controls and allows the timing and other parameters to be adjusted to suit flow and concentration of the influent.

Project: Tunbridge Wells South Sewage Treatment Plant
Year: 2000
