Project: Houn WwTW Year: 2005 Client: ODAC Country: Libya Value: ?4,065,800.00 Description: This is the third and final Sewage Treatment Plant in the Al Jufra region of Libya, Naston having already designed and supplied the equipment for two other plants for Waddan and Sukna.
The plant is designed for a population of 38,000 (7,700 M3/day) producing a chlorinated effluent of BOD - 10 mg/litre and TSS - 10 mg/litre, suitable for irrigation of the renowned local date farms. The process incorporates oxidation ditch, settlement, followed by tertiary filtration and chlorination, to produce the high quality effluent.
Naston is responsible for the total civil, mechanical and electrical design, including supervision of installation carried out by international construction companies.

Project: RNAD Coulport WTP Refurbishment Year: 2005 Client: Thames Water Services (MOD) Country: UK Value: ?450,000 Description: This 18 year old water treatment plant is dedicated to supply water to local MOD facilities. The contract includes the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new and refurbishment parts to allow the plant to operate at 2,520 m3/day. The new equipment includes chemical dosing with caustic, alum and chlorine, tanks, instrumentation, with all MCCs and PLC control systems. The contract is undertaken under the normal MOD Health & Safety requirements.

Country: UK Value: ?1,400,000.00 Description: Design, supply, installation, commissioning and operation of Sequence Batch Reactor (SBR) plant to treat sewage and glycol run off from the new Robin Hood Airport. Based on a total flow of 1400 M3/day, the plant produces an effluent of BOD - 20 mg/litre, TSS - 30 mg/litre, and Ammonia - 3 mg/litre. The sludge is thickened to 20% dry solids. The plant is automatic, including SCADA and telemetry for remote monitoring.

The work includes process analysis, design, supply, installation and commissioning of the works while maintaining operation of the existing schemes. The scope of supply includes mechanical, electrical and civil works.
