The scope of work includes the design, supply, installation and testing of the acoustically insulated ventilation fans, the control and power cables, fire detection, and the design of the MCCs and SCADA control package. All of the above scope of supply is integrated into an existing tunnel system.
Project: Lower Lea Valley Tunnel Ventilation Year: 2008 Client: J Murphy & Sons (NGC & EDFe) Country: UK Value: ?2,900,000.00 Description: Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning, plus three years maintenance, of the complete ventilation system for 7 Km x 2.8 and 4.15 metre dia. twin tunnels, designed to carry 66, 132, and 400 kV cables for NGC and EDFe. There are eight ventilation shafts, and our scope of supply includes six fans plus all ducting, dampers, louvres and attenuators. In addition there are separate staircase fans and culvert fans to ensure integrity and safety for maintenance.

The scope of work will include the design, supply, construction, commissioning and testing of a large number of pumping stations and associated water treatment systems. The installations will include the replacement or enhancement of borehole pumps, piping, valves and associated vessels, surge suppression, package process plants for chemical dosing, MCCs, instrumentation, software, plus associated building and civil works. Each contract will be carried out either on a fixed lump sum or target cost basis.

The effluent water will be used for irrigation of golf course, horticulture and general landscape.
Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 1000 m3/day RO desalination plant with sea water provided by wells sited close to the beach to allow the subsoil to act as a primary filter. Both units are part of the developing Sambala Residential Village, and any excess water capacity will be made available for local distribution.
